Reggie McKenzie and the Raiders continue to show support for Aldon despite a video purporting to be Smith that surfaced recently and Smith – according to TMZ – checking himself in rehab earlier this week.

McKenzie said “We’re going to support Aldon from the standpoint of the person. Whether he comes back to us or not, it has no bearing. We told him from Day one, we care more about you than the player. So whatever he does to ensure his health, we’re going to stand behind him.”

Following a series of successful draft classes and in charge of a team that many think are poised to return to the post season this year,  GM Reggie McKenzie has been given a four extension by the Raiders.

Reggie will now be the GM of the Raiders until 2021.

Fox Sports is reporting that Clive Walford will miss spring practises following an ATV accident. It is uncertain when the accident took place but Walford is now weeks removed from the surgery resulting from it.

This likely ends the rumours that the Raiders were interested in trading Mychal Rivera.

With Mark Davis pledging $500 million toward a new stadium in Las Vegas if the rest of the funding is ultimately approved by the Nevada State Legislature, it looks like the Raiders are committing to LV as their future home (pending league approval).

Vegas seems like the only bet the Raiders have, with L.A. being blocked off by the league and Oakland seemingly uninterested in keeping Silver and Black.

Personally, I just want the team to have a settled stadium situation and a team that is competing for the playoffs and the Superbowl every year. The team is coming around, this news about LV seems to say the stadium situation likely will resolve soon too.
